Stay Strong Sergio!
Konstantinos Panas writes an article in the form of a letter for the unlucky star Sergio Llull and wishes him a quick return to the court.
It has almost been a full week, since the injury of Sergio Llull unfortunate injury. I was watching the game at the time and immediately after it happen, I felt a sense of despair. Sergio, you are one of my favorite players to watch. The excitement, the passion and the flare you show while you’re playing are exciting to me, and I try never to miss any of your matches.
I’ve seen the reaction of not only the fans of Real Madrid and also the fans all across Europe. Isaw how other players and clubs have sent you their good wishes. They have inspired me to do the same, and although we may never meet, I just want to say thank you for the energy and passion you show every time you step out on the floor to play a match. Watching you play gives me motivation, as there aren’t many players playing at a high level that plays with the same joy you do.
European basketball is going through a transition period right, and for sure the season won’t be the same without you playing. For sure, this season won’t be as fun for fans of yours like me. I wish you a fast recovery, and I want to let you know that everyone is supporting you. Every athlete, non-athlete, coaches, journalists… Everyone is with you.
I would like to send you my positive energy to you and your family. To one of the most exciting players I have ever watched and of course a gentleman in and out the court.
Look forward to seeing you back on the court.
I wish you a quick return and a healthy life overall Sergio.
Kind Regards, Konstantinos Panas – My Hoop Journey
